Paterson Police are investigating a crash at one of New Jersey’s waterfall attractions in Paterson that caused a car to flip over and narrowly avoid plunging into the Passaic River.
The incident occurred around 7:40 a.m. on Sunday.
Police were dispatched to the Great Falls to investigate reports of a crash.
Upon arrival, responders found an overturned car on the McBride Avenue extension side of Great Falls National Historical Park.
The vehicle had driven through a fence and flipped onto its roof on the cement below.
At least two people were injured in the crash and were transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital for treatment.
The cause of the wreck is currently under investigation.
