Newark

By: Richard L. Smith

My friends and family in Newark's West Ward are experiencing a cooler Wednesday morning, with temperatures around 63 degrees at 4:40 a.m., according to the National Weather Service.VaccineThe day will begin mostly sunny, but North Jersey can expect increasing clouds around 2 p.m., signaling a shift in weather conditions.

While heat and humidity are set to return, today will not be entirely rainy.

National Weather Service meteorologists say showers and thunderstorms are likely, mainly after 2 p.m., with temperatures reaching a high near 78 degrees. Winds will be light from the west at around six mph.

Newark will likely see more consistent rain tonight, with showers and possible thunderstorms expected.

The evening will remain mostly cloudy, with temperatures cooling down to around 59 degrees.

Residents are encouraged to enjoy the day while preparing for the late afternoon and evening showers.

Stay updated on weather conditions, and enjoy your day, NJ!
