The Trenton Police Department is actively investigating a shooting incident that occurred overnight and resulted in one person being hospitalized.
Preliminary information indicated that the incident took place around 12:45 a.m. at 145 Home Avenue, where police were called to the scene following reports of gunfire.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
The injured party was promptly transported to the regional medical center for treatment. The victim's current condition remains unknown.
Authorities are now searching for a suspect described as a black male, last seen wearing an orange hoodie, who fled the scene immediately after the incident.
The motive behind the shooting is still under investigation as detectives work to gather more details and apprehend the suspect involved.
