Paterson Police, working with the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office, are investigating a shooting that occurred early Monday morning, leaving one man injured.
The incident occurred around 1:45 a.m. near Pearl Street and Carroll Street in Paterson.
Upon arriving at the scene, police discovered an unidentified male victim with a bullet wound to his leg.
He was promptly transported to St. Joseph's Hospital, where he is reportedly in stable condition.
Authorities are currently investigating the motive behind the shooting. Currently, no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
Paterson Police are urging anyone with information to come forward to assist in their ongoing investigation.
