Newark and the North Jersey region are in for a good-looking day as we wake up this Tuesday morning.
At 4:30 a.m., it is 59 degrees and mostly cloudy in Newark, but most of the cloud cover will burn off as the morning progresses, leading to a day that feels like late June.
While it will stay cooler in South Jersey and along the coast, the National Weather Service provides an optimistic forecast for the area.
Forecasters said to expect patchy fog before 8 a.m., which will clear up to reveal mostly sunny skies with a high near 85 degrees.
According to The National Weather Service, a calm wind will shift to the south at 5 to 8 mph in the morning.
Tonight will bring partly cloudy skies and a low of around 63 degrees.
Today is a perfect day to enjoy the outdoors, whether taking a lunch break outside or going for a walk with a coworker.
