Newark and the North Jersey region are off to a lovely start, setting the stage for a beautiful week ahead.
Newark is waking up to a pleasant 57 degrees this morning with no precipitation on the radar. However, there is some fog in Northern New Jersey.
According to the National Weather Service, today will be sunny with a high near 76 degrees.
A calm wind will shift to the southeast at 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon.
NWS forecasters said tonight will be partly cloudy, with a low of around 57 degrees and a southeast wind of around six mph becoming calm in the evening.
