North Jersey residents are waking up without the dreary, soggy, rainy start they've been getting all week.
With temperatures in the 60s, it feels good not to carry an umbrella this morning.
According to the National Weather Service, today is shaping up to be a nice day. While it will be partly cloudy, there will be enough sunshine to warm the region to the low to mid-70s.
The forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies with a high near 73 degrees. A north wind of around eight mph will shift to the east in the afternoon.
Tonight, the weather is expected to remain mostly cloudy, with a low of around 57 degrees.
