Mayor Tony Vauss and the Irvington Municipal Council are delighted to announce their annual Senior Appreciation Night, set to take place this Saturday, May 11th, 2024, at 3 p.m.This special event will be held at Irvington High School, 1253 Clinton Avenue, in honor of Mother's Day.
This year’s celebration promises to be exceptional. It will recognize seniors from across the township for their contributions and achievements.
Irvington Township officials said attendees can look forward to an afternoon filled with free food, prizes, and lively entertainment provided by a live band, all dedicated to celebrating senior mothers. Mayor Vauss highlighted that there will be a convenient shuttle service available to ensure accessibility for all attendees.
Shuttles will start at 2 p.m. from several locations, including 280 Park Place, 712 15th Avenue, 1 Linden Avenue, and 624 Nye Avenue.
The event is open to individuals who are 55 years and older.
The township of Irvington is excited to welcome its senior residents to this joyful gathering and hopes many community members will come out to enjoy the festivities and honor the special mothers in their lives.
