A former Linden man died this morning after crashing into a utility pole, according to authorities.
According to initial investigation, the driver of a 2007 Suzuki GSX-R1000 - later identified as Christopher Brantley - was riding in the area of West Elizabeth Avenue and Lexington Avenue around 9 a.m., when he apparently lost control and struck a utility pole.
Brantley sustained severe injuries and was pronounced dead on scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the Linden Police Traffic Unit.
