Residents in Newark are starting their day with ideal weather conditions, as clear skies and a comfortable 64 degrees greeted them early this morning at 4:30 a.m.
The National Weather Service reports that today is set to be the highlight of the week, with mostly sunny skies and temperatures soaring to a high near 80 degrees.
A gentle north wind at 5 to 7 mph will shift to the west in the afternoon, maintaining pleasant conditions throughout the day.
However, NWS forecasters said the weather is expected to change overnight, with showers likely to begin mainly after 5 a.m.
Increasing clouds will accompany a low of around 60 degrees, and a south wind of around six mph will bring a 60% chance of precipitation.
Today’s beautiful weather provides a perfect opportunity for outdoor activities, so residents are encouraged to take full advantage of the warm and sunny conditions.
