Authorities in Hudson County are on the search for a suspect involved in a violent robbery and stabbing incident in Jersey City.
The attack occurred around 5:35 a.m. near 289 Virginia Avenue. Upon arrival, police found the victim suffering from multiple stab wounds to the face and head, prompting immediate medical attention.
The assailant described only as a white or Hispanic male with short hair wearing a white shirt, approached the victim and attempted to steal personal possessions before assaulting them.
Reports say the victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, is expected to recover from their injuries.
The incident is under active investigation as Jersey City police work to identify and locate the suspect.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about the attack or the suspect’s whereabouts to come forward to assist in resolving the case and preventing further violence.
