Authorities in Atlantic County announced that on Wednesday, April 17, at approximately 2:49 p.m., the Galloway Township Police Department received a call regarding a deceased male in a residence on the 400 block of South Odessa Avenue.
Upon police arrival, officials said they located the victim, Shawn P. O’Neill Jr., 42, of Galloway Township, inside the residence with several wounds to his body.
The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office’s Major Crimes Unit responded to the scene, officials say.
According to officials, the cause and manner of death are pending an autopsy.
