Authorities in Hudson County announced that on Wednesday, April 17, members of the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested a North Bergen man following an explicit material of minor investigation.
Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said Nicholas Sanchez, 25, is charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child/Possession of Explicit Images of Minors.
He was arrested at the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office in Secaucus and transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility pending his first court appearance, officials stated.
According to officials, on December 15, 2023, members of the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force received a tip that Explicit Images of Minors were being stored on an online server.
During the course of the investigation, it was determined Sanchez controlled the account, authorities say.
