UPDATE 8:40 a.m.: All Marlboro schools have closed for the day.
Marlboro Memorial Middle School and the local Board of Education buildings were the subjects of threats received early this morning, leading to a delayed opening for the district.According to officials, the threats were communicated before 7:40 a.m., prompting immediate action.
The Marlboro Township Police Department, in collaboration with other law enforcement agencies, is currently conducting a detailed inspection of the affected buildings to ensure the safety of students and staff.
Authorities are taking all necessary precautions to assess and mitigate any potential risks.
The district has announced that further updates will be provided as the situation develops, ensuring that parents and community members are kept informed.Schools in Trenton also received threats the morning which appears to be possibly hoaxes.
