Dreary Weather Persists Across Newark, North Jersey

The Newark and the North Jersey region is facing a dreary weather forecast today, with damp, chilly conditions expected to prevail. AdThe day promises to be wet as temperatures struggle to climb past the upper 40s, while brisk winds will likely make it feel even colder.

The National Weather Service reports that the region will see most of its moisture taper off by later this afternoon.

However, the respite may be brief, as the forecast for Thursday includes likely showers before 11 a.m., followed by a possible mix of showers and drizzle continuing until 5 p.m. Post-5 p.m., there might be occasional drizzle accompanied by a slight chance of showers.

NWS forecasters say Thursday's temperatures will see a slight increase, with highs nearing 51 degrees under cloudy skies.AdNortheast winds will blow around 11 mph, with gusts that could reach up to 21 mph. The chance of precipitation remains significant at 60%.

As the evening rolls in, the area will experience mostly cloudy conditions, with temperatures dipping to a low of around 44 degrees.

Residents are advised to prepare for the continued cool and wet weather as the week progresses.
