Authorities in Newark request the public's help identifying the suspects in connection with a business burglary that occurred on Sunday, April 14.Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé said at approximately 3:50 a.m., the two suspects entered a business in the 100 block of Bloomfield Avenue by climbing onto a roof and entering through a 2nd-floor window.
Once inside the building, officials said, the suspects opened the cash register and removed $1,555.91.
Officials stated that the suspects then entered a second business by making a hole in the sheetrock wall between them.
The second business also had a cash register that the suspects emptied of $400.00, authorities say.
Officials said detectives investigating this incident seek the public's help in quickly identifying the suspects.
According to officials, both suspects are described as Hispanic.
Authorities say suspect 1 has a light complexion, a medium build, dark-colored clothing, white sneakers, a baseball cap, and a face covering.
Suspect 2 is approximately 5'9" tall, with a light complexion and little to no facial hair, officials say.
According to officials, he wore a dark-colored Chicago Bulls baseball cap with a gold logo and Adidas sweatpants.
