Authorities in Newark request the public’s help with locating Monica Pemberton, 55, who is wanted for questioning in connection with the investigation of a shooting that occurred on Thursday, April 4, 2024.
Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé said at approximately 10:45 p.m., police responded to the 800 block of South 16th Street on a call of a shooting.
Officials said responding officers located a man and a woman who had been shot.
Both victims were transported to University Hospital for treatment and each is reportedly in stable condition, officials stated.
Authorities say detectives investigating this incident are seeking Monica Pemberton for questioning.
