Police are on the search for an armed carjacker that struck late last night in the city's Central Ward.
The incident occurred shortly before 9:30 p.m. in the area of Springfield Ave. and Bergen Street when the suspect (only described as a black male) pointed a weapon at the victim occupying a red 4-door BMW 328i ordering them out of the vehicle.
The vehicle has a reported NJ license plate number " T85-BNW" .
There were injuries reported.
