Newark Police Department is seeking assistance in locating Quayon Brown, an 11-year-old boy from Newark, who was reported missing on Saturday, March 30.The search for Quayon began after his mother reported him missing following a verbal disagreement between them.
Police said Quayon was last observed in the vicinity of the 400 block of Hawthorne Avenue.
At the time of his disappearance, he was dressed in a white T-shirt, khaki pants, and black Jordans.
Known to frequently visit the Hawkins Street area, Quayon is described as standing 4'9" tall, weighing 130 pounds, and has a medium brown complexion.
The Newark Police have stepped up their efforts to find Quayon and are asking anyone with information about his current location to come forward.
Director Fragé has highlighted the importance of community cooperation in these situations and urges individuals to contact the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477) with any details that might aid in Quayon’s safe return.
The department assures that all tips received via the Crime Stoppers line will remain anonymous, and contributors may be eligible for a reward for information leading to Quayon's whereabouts.
