BREAKING: Suspect in Three Pennsylvania Murders, Two NJ  Carjackings Captured in Trenton

Authorities in Trenton have successfully apprehended 26-year-old Mr. Andre Gordon Jr., a suspect involved in a deadly crime spree spanning two states.NinosAttorney General Matthew J. Platkin, alongside the New Jersey State Police, the Division of Criminal Justice, the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office, and the Trenton Police Department, announced the arrest following a series of violent incidents that left communities in both Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and Mercer County, New Jersey, in shock.

Gordon is accused of three murders in Pennsylvania, including the tragic death of a 13-year-old girl, and two carjackings.

The horrific events unfolded on the morning of March 16, 2024, beginning with a carjacking in Trenton's Donnelly Homes parking lot. Gordon then reportedly drove to Falls Township, Pennsylvania, where he executed the fatal shootings at two separate locations before carjacking a second vehicle in Morrisville, Pennsylvania, and fleeing back to Trenton.

The arrest was made possible through the combined efforts of numerous law enforcement agencies.

Approximately 60 officers from the Mercer County Rapid Response Partnership (MCRRP) responded to the scene, contributing to the swift apprehension of Gordon without further violence.

The charges against Gordon in New Jersey include first-degree carjacking, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of hollow-point ammunition, among others. While these charges are serious accusations, Gordon is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

The case has garnered attention due to the cross-state nature of the crimes and the collaboration between various law enforcement agencies to ensure the suspect's capture.

Officials have expressed their gratitude for the quick response and coordination among the agencies involved.

Attorney General Platkin highlighted the alarming nature of the violence and the impact of illegal firearms in the incident.

Colonel Patrick J. Callahan, Superintendent of the New Jersey State Police, acknowledged the challenges and dangers faced by law enforcement officers in such situations.

As the communities begin to process the events and seek justice for the victims, the collaborative efforts of law enforcement have been a silver lining in preventing further harm.

Gordon's arrest marks the beginning of the legal process to address the serious allegations against him.
