Today, although not as picturesque as yesterday, still promises pleasant weather for the Newark and North Jersey region. While a few showers are expected in some areas, it won't be a complete washout.
Current temperatures hover around 53 degrees at 4:30 a.m., but by 5 a.m., we can expect a rise to about 55 degrees.
Throughout Friday, the National Weather Service said there's a 20 percent chance of showers before 2 p.m., with mostly cloudy skies and a high near 66 degrees.
The southwest wind, currently at 8 to 15 mph, will shift northwest in the afternoon.As the day progresses into Friday night, expect mostly cloudy conditions with a low of around 43 degrees.
Despite the possibility of showers, it remains a relatively mild and enjoyable day overall.
