Authorities in Newark are asking for the public’s help in locating Kimora Hopkins, 25, of Newark, and her 2-year-old daughter, Nova Quinones, who were reported missing today, Thursday, March 7, 2024.Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé stated that at approximately 1:11 p.m., police responded to Hopkins’ residence on a call that she had threatened to harm herself.
According to officials, responding officers did not locate Hopkins nor her daughter, Nova, at the location.
However, officials say she was seen walking eastbound on Muhammad Ali Avenue towards Irvine Turner Boulevard with her child at 1:38 p.m.
Detectives investigating this incident seek the public’s help in quickly locating Kimora Hopkins and Nova, officials said.Authorities say Ms. Hopkins is described as 5’7” tall and 185 pounds, has a medium-brown complexion, and was wearing a blue or purple shirt, black sweatpants, tan Uggs boots, and a black bonnet.
Officials said Nova is described as having a light complexion.
