A 28-year-old woman was arrested after driving intoxicated with her 6-month old son improperly secured in the vehicle.
According to police, Marilyn Bourdier, of Perth Amboy, was pulled over after police notice Bourdier's right front tire apparently about to come off.
During the stop, on Belleville Turnpike, officers discovered a 6-month old baby in a car seat that was on its side.
The woman subsequent told police she had been drinking in Hoboken, according to police.
Bourdier was charged with DUI, careless driving, driving with a suspended license, failure to surrender the license, misuse of a child restraint, having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and DUI with a minor in the vehicle.
