Burlington County authorities are currently probing a shooting incident that occurred in Willingboro overnight on Saturday, leaving two individuals wounded.
The ordeal took place following reports of gunfire in the neighborhood, prompting a response from law enforcement.
Officers were dispatched to 36 Buttercup Lane after receiving distress calls to 911 regarding shots fired in the area.
Upon arrival just before 8:30 p.m., authorities discovered two victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
One victim sustained injuries to their leg and arm, necessitating immediate medical attention.
Both wounded individuals were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment as detectives combed the scene for any evidence to shed light on the motive behind the shooting.
At present, no arrests have been made, and authorities continue their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
