The Newark and North Jersey region is waking up to a milder morning compared to the previous days, with the day featuring intermittent drizzle.The current temperature stands at a comfortable 43 degrees. The region may experience some patchy fog, especially in the morning hours, due to the light rain.
As the day progresses, The National Weather Service said the morning drizzle is expected to clear up, offering a brief respite. However, around lunchtime, the rain is likely to make a return.
This rainfall is not anticipated to be heavy, but keeping an umbrella handy for any outdoor plans might be a good idea.
According to The National Weather Service, the forecast for Friday includes a 40 percent chance of rain, primarily before 2 pm. The day will remain cloudy with a high near 49 degrees.A calm wind will shift to the north at around six mph in the afternoon. Friday night is expected to be mostly cloudy, with temperatures dropping to a low of around 34 degrees.
Residents are advised to grab an umbrella if heading out this morning and to enjoy their day despite the drizzly conditions.
