Authorities in Newark request the public’s help with identifying the suspect who is wanted for an aggravated assault that occurred on February 16, 2024.
Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé said the police responded to the incident, which occurred at approximately 4:45 a.m. in the 100 block of South Street.
The suspect, wearing dark-colored clothing, gloves, and a ski mask, was captured on surveillance video.
According to officials, the video captured the suspect following the victim before punching and kicking her as she fell to the ground, officials stated.
