The Newark and North Jersey region is set to enjoy an even more delightful day as temperatures climb higher amidst abundant sunshine. At 4:30 a.m., my friends and family in Newark is waking up to freezing temperatures, but the day promises a significant improvement with wall-to-wall sunshine brightening the city.
Today's weather is not just an improvement over yesterday's; it's a precursor to an even warmer tomorrow, with temperatures expected to hit the 50-degree mark accompanied by generous sunlight.
The National Weather Service said today to anticipate clear skies with a high near 45 degrees.
Although the wind chill might make it feel like it's between 20 and 30 degrees early on, the day is set to be pleasant overall.
As night falls, NWS meteorologist said the sky will remain mostly clear, with temperatures dropping to around 30 degrees. The wind will stay light and variable, ensuring a calm and serene evening.
This stretch of beautiful weather is a welcome change, inviting residents to enjoy the outdoors, so grab your sunglasses and soak up the warmth as we move away from the chill, at least for now.
