A troubling scene emerged in Jersey City on Saturday evening, as two individuals suffered non-fatal gunshot wounds in an incident that remains under active investigation. 
The event unfolded just before 6:45 p.m. when police were called to Rose Avenue following reports of gunshots.
Upon their arrival, officers discovered shell casings and one person with a bullet wound.
This victim was promptly taken to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment. As detectives worked to gather evidence and ascertain a motive at the scene, another development occurred: officials at the hospital reported that a second individual, also suffering from a gunshot wound, had entered the emergency room.
Thankfully, the condition of both victims is not considered life-threatening at this time.
However, details regarding the motive for the shooting remain undisclosed, and no arrests have been made.
