A serious collision involving a stolen car resulted in serious injuries in Newark's South Ward early this morning.
At around 2:30 a.m., emergency responders rushed to the Clinton Place and Bragaw Avenue intersection following reports of a crash.
Police, arriving at the scene, discovered a severely damaged vehicle with the driver trapped inside.
The victim was swiftly extricated by crews and transported to a nearby hospital for urgent treatment.
Further investigations revealed that one of the vehicles involved in the collision had been reported stolen.
Fortunately, no other severe injuries were reported in the incident.
The ongoing investigation continues as authorities work to piece together the events leading up to the crash.
