Early Saturday morning, Paterson Police responded to a shots fired incident near an after-hours club located in the 80's block of Main Street.
According to reports, the incident occurred around 5:30 a.m. when patrolling officers heard gunshots in the vicinity.
Police immediately began canvassing the area and discovered a single shell casing near 86 Main Street. Witnesses observed several individuals, including the presumed shooter, fleeing the scene shortly after the incident.
Authorities conducted checks at local hospitals and in the surrounding area but reported no injuries related to the shooting.
The motive behind this incident remains under active investigation by Paterson Police as they work to determine the circumstances leading to the gunfire.
No arrests have been made at this stage.
