NJIT and NJ Transit Police searched for two suspects involved in a daylight robbery near the Norfolk Street Light Rail Station on Sunday afternoon.
The incident, which occurred around 2:30 p.m., saw two males approach a victim and forcibly take cash.
The robbery, according to reports, did not involve any weapons.
The suspects, described as a black male dressed entirely in black and a Hispanic male wearing grey clothing fled the scene immediately after the incident. They were last observed on the light rail platform.
The victim, who was relieved of just over $200, did not suffer any serious injuries during the encounter.
Despite the response from law enforcement, the suspects remain at large.
Police are urging anyone with information about the incident or the whereabouts of the suspects to come forward to assist in the ongoing investigation.
