A shots-fired incident on Friday evening led to a police chase and the apprehension of one suspect in the area of Central Avenue and 3rd Street.
The incident, which occurred around 6:30 p.m., prompted an immediate response from officers after reports of gunfire.
Upon arrival, police witnessed two individuals fleeing the scene on foot.
One of the suspects was quickly captured, but the other, described as a black male wearing a ski mask and dark clothing managed to elude police.
This individual led officers on a chase through nearby yards but ultimately evaded capture.
No injuries were reported in the incident, but at the scene, police recovered two firearms.
The search for the second suspect continues, with police urging anyone with information to come forward. The investigation into the shooting and the motive behind it is ongoing.
