In the early hours of Wednesday morning, emergency medical services were called to the scene of a robbery that resulted in injuries.
The incident occurred shortly before 2:20 a.m. in the 200 block of Morris Avenue.
Responding to reports of a robbery, police units arrived to find the victim, who had been attacked during a knifepoint robbery attempt.
The assailant had approached the victim, attempting to steal personal possessions. During the altercation, the victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Despite the police response, the suspect managed to flee the scene, and no arrests have been reported as of yet.
The incident is currently under investigation, with authorities seeking any leads that could help in apprehending the suspect.
