NWS Forecasters said residents are waking up to reduced visibility and a blanket of fog that is expected to linger until 10 a.m.

Despite the foggy start, the day will gradually clear up, leading to mostly cloudy skies with a high near 51 degrees.

A calm wind in the morning will shift to a gentle southeast breeze at around five mph in the afternoon, maintaining the mild conditions.

Come Tuesday night, the chance of rain increases to 50 percent, mainly after midnight. Patchy fog is also expected to return after 8 p.m.

The night will be cloudy, with a low of around 44 degrees. The current humidity stands at 86%, with an east wind moving at three mph and a barometric pressure of 30.35.

Residents are advised to exercise caution during their morning commute due to the dense fog and to stay updated on weather changes as the possibility of rain increases into the night.
