Authorities in Union County are currently investigating a brutal stabbing incident that occurred in Elizabeth on Monday night, leaving one person severely wounded.
Police were called to the scene at 503 Elizabeth Avenue, near the Mara Bakery, following reports of an injured individual.
Upon arrival, officers discovered an unidentified person suffering from multiple stab wounds.
The victim was quickly transported to University Hospital in Newark and was reported to be in critical condition as of late last night.
