Irvington Police officials have indicated that preliminary investigations suggest no foul play in a case involving a male and a femal found deceased in a Township home on Friday.
The tragic discovery was made at 607 Grove Street, where the individuals, aged 25 and 27, were found unresponsive.
Authorities have stated that there were no signs of a crime at the scene, shedding some initial light on the circumstances of the incident. However, the cause of death remains undetermined at this stage.
To ascertain the exact cause, the State Regional Medical Examiner's Office is set to conduct autopsies on the victims.
Irvington Police have also confirmed that carbon monoxide poisoning, often a silent and deadly killer in enclosed spaces, has been ruled out in this case.
The incident remains under investigation.
