Authorities in Bergen County announced the arrest of Cesar Ixcoy-Perez, 35, of Union City, on charges of aggravated criminal explicit contact and endangering the welfare of a child.
Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said the arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Fairview Police Department under the direction of Chief Vincent Bellucci.
Officla stated that on Monday, December 4, the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit regarding the alleged explicit contact with a juvenile that had occurred within Bergen County.
An investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Fairview Police Department revealed that Cesar Ixcoy-Perez had explicit contact with a minor in Fairview on two occasions, officials said.
As a result of the investigation officials say on, Tuesday, December 19, Ixcoy-Perez was arrested in Parsay.
According to officials, he was charged with two counts of first-degree aggravated explicit contact and one count of third-degree endangering the welfare of a child.
Officials said Ixcoy-Perez was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending his first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack.
