Saturday night in Newark's East Ward was disrupted by gunfire, prompting a swift response from local law enforcement.
Just before 11:30 p.m., police rushed to the vicinity of 450 Mulberry Street following reports of shots fired.
Upon arrival, officers discovered clear evidence of a shooting. However, no victims were immediately located at the scene.
