As shoppers across the Garden State gear up for the Black Friday frenzy, they'll need to prepare for a chilly day ahead.
While the deals may be hot, the weather is anything but, so don't forget the heavy jacket before heading out.
According to The National Weather Service in Newark and the North Jersey region, the day promises mostly sunny skies with a high near 48.
However, brisk winds from the northwest, blowing at speeds of 5 to 11 mph and gusting as high as 21 mph, will make it feel even colder. So, shoppers, make sure to grab that warm coat as you hunt for those holiday bargains.
As we move into Friday night, expect clear skies and a temperature drop, with lows around 29. And don't let your guard down, as Saturday morning ushers in even colder conditions.
So, if you're planning to brave the Black Friday sales, remember to bundle up, stay warm, and have a fantastic shopping day!
