Police departments in Newark and Paterson are investigating incidents where victims were stabbed in their cities.
Shortly before midnight, in the area of Poinier Street and Pennsylvania Ave., EMS transported a victim stabbed multiple times to University Hospital where the victim's injuries were reported to be serious.
At around 7 a.m. in Paterson, police responded to 50's block of Governor Street where they located two female victims bleeding, suffering apparent stab wounds to the arm and head. Ems transported the women to the hospital where they were expected to survive.
In the 900 block of Broad Street in Newark, at around 11:30 p.m. EMS arrived to find two people suffering non-life threatening injuries from stab wounds.
There were no arrest reported in either of the incidents.
