Camden County was struck by tragedy on Monday night when a person lost their life in a train accident.
New Jersey Transit police swiftly responded to the incident, which occurred around 8:30 p.m. on the Pennsauken Township train tracks, close to Cove Road and River Road.
Authorities were alerted to the scene following reports of a person being struck by a train.
Upon arriving at the location, police discovered an individual who had sustained severe injuries due to the collision with the train.
Tragically, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene, and no injuries were reported among the train's passengers.
As investigators continue to piece together the circumstances surrounding this unfortunate incident, our hearts go out to the victim's family and friends.
