Authorities in Newark are actively seeking suspects believed to be responsible for a string of robberies that have occurred across the city in recent days.
The suspect is reportedly operating a black 2016 Land Rover bearing New York license plate number "KHW-5911." However, investigators suspect the individual may have swapped the plates for temporary tags from Minnesota.
Reports suggest that the suspect has targeted several individuals on the street and has also robbed at least one business.
One such incident transpired on Friday evening when the suspect, matching the provided description, entered the Metro PCS store located in the 900 block of South Orange Avenue, where a robbery occurred.
Fortunately, there have been no reports of serious injuries thus far.
Authorities are urging anyone with information on the suspect or the vehicle to come forward and assist in their ongoing investigation.
The suspect remains at large as the search intensifies.
