Authorities in Passaic County announced that at approximately 8:01 a.m. on November 7, the Passaic Police Department responded to the area of Monroe Street and Myrtle Avenue upon a report of a shooting.
Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes said that upon arrival, responding officers were able to locate a 40-year-old male Paterson resident suffering from gunshot wounds who was transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center.
In addition, officials stated a 24-year-old male Passaic resident was located and refused medical treatment.
According to officials, police were also able to locate a potential crime scene.
The investigation remains active and ongoing, officials said.
