An afternoon crash near Exit 168 of the Garden State Parkway has an 88-year-old man in critical condition after his vehicle slammed through a guardrail.
The injured man's Subaru went across the Washington Avenue overpass, slammed through the guardrail, hit a tree and came to a stop in a wooded area.
The accident remains under investigation.
