My friends and family in Newark are in for a treat as the weather takes a turn for the better.
The National Weather Service reported that after a mild start to the day at 51 degrees, the city can look forward to mostly sunny conditions in the morning, with some clouds mixing in during the afternoon.
The good news doesn't end there.
According to NWS meteorologists, Newark and surrounding areas will experience record-high temperatures on Wednesday and Thursday, with some parts of Northern New Jersey nearing 80 degrees.
Today, residents can expect a high of around 71 degrees, accompanied by a gentle southwest wind of 6 to 8 mph.
But the real highlight of the week comes on Saturday when temperatures are predicted to reach the 80s. It's the perfect opportunity to soak up the sun and enjoy the outdoors.
