Passaic County authorities announced that at approximately 2:43 p.m. on October 17, the Paterson Police Department was dispatched to the area of East Holsman Street and North Bridge Street in Paterson on a report of a shooting.
Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Department officer-in-charge Isa Abbassi stated that upon arrival to the area, the Paterson Police Department located two shooting victims: an 18-year-old male and a 19-year-old female, both Paterson residents.
Both victims were transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, officials stated.
Authorities say police were able to locate a potential crime scene in the area.
The investigation remains active and ongoing, and more information will be released once it becomes available, officials said.
