Troopers were summoned to Rachel Lane in Green Township at 8:56 a.m. following a report of a stabbing.
Upon their arrival at the scene, troopers found Karen Novato-Selimi, a 59-year-old resident of Green Township, suffering from stab wounds.
She was immediately given medical attention and transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The suspect in this incident, identified as Louis Selimi, 25, of Green Township, was promptly apprehended by law enforcement.
Selimi has been charged with multiple serious offenses, including criminal attempted murder, possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, and unlawful possession of a weapon.
Following his arrest, he was lodged in Morris County Jail, where he awaits a detention hearing.
