Authorities in Paterson are conducting a search for suspects involved in a shooting incident that occurred Saturday evening.
Around 7 p.m., police were dispatched to the area of 19 Cliff Street after receiving reports of shots fired.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers learned that a vehicle had left the area, apparently having been shot at. Fortunately, the occupant of the vehicle escaped unharmed. That vehicle was located in the area of 217 West Broadway.
Eyewitnesses reported that an armed male had arrived in the vicinity and began firing shots in the vehicle's direction before fleeing the scene on a moped.
Despite police efforts to apprehend the suspect, they remain at large.
The motive behind the shooting is currently under investigation as authorities work diligently to identify and locate the individuals responsible for this incident.
