In a shocking turn of events, the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit and the Englewood Police Department have launched a joint investigation into a homicide that transpired at 6 Mevan Avenue in Englewood today.
Authorities are currently withholding the identity of the deceased individual pending notification of next of kin.
Preliminary reports indicated that the victim was shot dead at the residence.
The investigation is under the careful supervision of Chief Jason Love of the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office and Chief Thomas Greeley of the Englewood Police Department.
