Authorities are investigating a fatal fire that broke out earlier today at a township home.
Crews responded to the Glenside Trail shortly before 10:30 a.m. for a report of a house fire.
Firefighters placed fire under control in approximately 10 minutes.
Upon search of the home, the body of the unidentified victim was discovered.
The Byram Township Police Department and detectives from the prosecutor's office arson squad are investigating the fire.
The identity of the victim is being withheld until medical examiner has completed his findings and next of kin has been notified.
Firefighters from Andover, Odgensburg, Netcong, Stanhope and Hopatcong responded to the scene to assist.
